Peritoneal Dialysis workshops are being offered on a monthly basis to staff interested in learning more about this modality of renal replacement therapy. These sessions provide an overview of PD as well as learning lab experience with both CAPD and APD. Dr. James Shaw presenting – “Kidney Transplant Workup: What’s Involved?”


  1. Review referral criteria for transplant assessment
  2. Discuss what happens at a transplant assessment
  3. Review the process of a transplant workup, and what it takes for a patient to be “ready” for transplant

The monthly sessions are physician led and provide a lunch hour’s worth of education for nursing and allied health professionals.
