Indigenous Health
Indigenous Health offers several workshops that provide cultural education. The workshops are beneficial for health-care staff seeking to build awareness and understanding in order to provide better care for Indigenous patients and their families. The program often accepts out- of-region participants (other RHAs, etc).

Health Equity
Health Equity: What is it Anyway?
To support increased understanding and application of health equity concepts, an interactive workshop on the topic has been developed for team leaders. By the end of the Health Equity – What is it anyway? workshop, participants will be able to:
- Define key health equity concepts
- Identify factors that impact health and well-being
- Discuss how health equity is being promoted in the Winnipeg Health Region
- Identify actions you can take to promote health equity
