Introducing the Chronic Disease Innovation Center (CDIC), which is actively doing research projects in nephrology. Robust research projects require intensive attention to details and data and/or information collection. An example of an ongoing research project that has met all the requirements for approval and is being conducted in the nephrology population currently is: A pragmatic randomized controlled trial of a CKD specific telemonitoring platform to minimize adverse outcomes in high risk CKD patients. Dr. Rigatto will explain the project, the current progress of the project and share the possible impact of the results.
