A casual pool of trained dialysis nurses is being created by Interlake-Eastern Regional Health Authority to cover Berens River Renal Health Centre staff vacations and absences.

As part of the casual pool, you may be offered shifts at the dialysis unit in Berens River First Nation as the need arises. Coverage needs vary but are generally for short periods of time. The unit facilitates morning and afternoon dialysis treatments on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. It is a small, four-station unit that operates independently of the health centre. All travel and accommodations are coordinated and covered by the Interlake-Eastern Regional Health Authority which manages staffing for the unit.

Qualifications

Must be a current or recent hemodialysis RN or LPN with a Manitoba Nephrology Nursing Course certificate.
