With Krista on maternity leave, Erin Patton will be taking over fitness initiatives for MRP patients. For more information about getting active while living with kidney disease you can contact Erin!
Before accepting the position as MRP’s Fitness and Wellness Coordinator, Erin worked as a Fitness Instructor with the Canadian Forces out of 17 Wing Winnipeg. Her role there was to put military personnel through annual fitness testing as well as conducting physical training classes and seminars.
Erin has a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Waterloo as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology from the University of Winnipeg, specializing in Athletic Therapy. Erin is also a Certified Exercise Physiologist (CEP) through the Canadian Society for Exercise Physiology, which certifies her to work with the chronic disease population.
Erin spends her free time running, practicing yoga, weight training and spending time at her family cottage in Victoria Beach.
