Monique, Hemodialysis Nurse, Pine Falls Health Complex, Pine Falls, Manitoba

Monique has been a nurse since 2005.

When it comes to challenges of rural nursing: “For us, the doctors are not as present, just the doctor-patient support. There is a lack of resources. Social work, doctors. If they have to go to the ER I’ve had to send them out.”
