Ingredients

Servings: 5

  • 5 flour tortillas
  • 1lb venison (or any unsalted meat –examples pork/chicken/beef)
  • 1 medium red bell pepper, diced
  • 1 medium green bell pepper, diced
  • 1 medium sweet onion, diced
  • 2 Tbsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ¼ tsp cayenne powder
  • ½ cumin
  • 1 Tbsp cornstarch

Directions

1. Add Venison, peppers, and onion to slow cooker

2. Mix spices well and add to slow cooker, coating meat and vegetables

3. Cook on high for 5-6 hours, until meat tender enough to be shredded with a fork

4. Shred meat and mix thoroughly

5. Serve on tortilla and enjoy
