November 2023 | News, Patient News, Uncategorized

In 2022, we surveyed in-centre hemodialysis patients across 20 dialysis locations to find out how they felt about their care. This information helps us understand the patient experience across our sites and is used to help guide planning and delivering of renal services.

We also want to share the results with you – particularly those of you who participated. We had a high number of patients participate and appreciate the time you spent sharing your opinion.

Who participated?

There were 730 patients who completed the survey which was about 52 per cent of our total in-centre hemodialysis patient population at the time. Here is a snapshot of the results. To see the full results, click here to view the pdf.

What’s next?

This information will be used to help ensure we are providing patients the right information and the care they expect. Results of this survey have been shared with leadership teams across all dialysis unit locations. We will look at expanding efforts to get feedback from other groups of patients including those on home dialysis. As well we will look at when to repeat the survey to measure our progress over time. Thank you again for your feedback and participation.
